More on Misgendering and Isolation
When a cis person is misgendered, like it or not, they have cissexism to reassure them. The rest of the world will gladly tell them, “hey, don’t worry, we know you’re really your gender.”
When a trans person is misgendered, we have nothing but our own word, and we have been taught never to trust it.
